"Well first off while I have seen many people very happy with ACT products I
know from people in the Industry that if u saw the kind of monkey business
that goes around at ACT that u wouldn't buy their cluch. THey use all used
parts and to make a stiffer pressure plate they have done things usch ass
get a used OEM pressure plate and then BEND the finger springs to make them
stiff again and things like that.
The RPS is a better way to go IMHO. Depending on how much power ur looking
to ultimately make would dictate which one to ge. The Carbon Kevlar RPS
clutch is pretty streetable. I've driven it in Trafffic etc it does shudder
but its not an on/off switch. Call RPS see what they recomended for your
desired HP level."
This came from the supra board...is this true? Knowing this, should i still go with ACT?
